Homebuyers and sellers were busy in the first 2 weeks of March

Vancouver Real Estate Stats March.2020 – Housing Market: According to the Real Estate Report published on April 2 – home buying demand was increasing in the first 2 weeks of March; due to the Convid-19 – slow down。

REBGV reports that the residential home sales in the region totalled 2,524 in March 2020; which is 17.4 per cent increase from the 2,150 homes sold in February 2020.

But still, last month’s sales were 19.9 per cent below the 10-year March sales average.

The board’s President said that the first two weeks of the month were the busiest days of the year for our region with heightened demand and multiple offers becoming more common, but the Covid-19 situation in our province grew – market activities slow down.

Let’s take a look at the sales-to-active listings ratio:

  1. 21.3% for detached homes
  2. 33% for townhomes
  3. 28.9% for apartments

Total Sales in Detached homes, condo, and Townhouses:

  1. Detached home: 852, houses sold – 61.1% increase from March.2019
  2. Condo: 1,179apartments sold – 35.1% increase from March.2019
  3. Townhouse: 493 townhomes sold – 51.7% increase from March.2019

2020年3月温哥华房地产市场报告 – 房屋价格买卖数据：根据4月2日发布的房地产报告，3月的前两周购房需求正在增加；由于Convid-19 –买卖慢了许多，因为不能出门。

REBGV报告称，到2020年3月，该地区的住宅房屋销售总额为2,524；与2020年2月出售的2150所房屋相比增长了17.4％。
